I had to smile at this post and the play on words. I have a stepson who has a PhD and is into genetic research and had moved away from home to also teach at an University. He is one that has so much brains which makes it hard for someone like myself to find things to talk about with. When he was living at home I struggled to find things of interest between the two of us so we would have a close relationship.
He came back this Christmas for a visit and we had a wonderful time. One of the many wonderful things was because he talked with me with interest about my health and wanted to know what I was doing to manage my MS symptoms. Well, I didn't go in any great detail but I shared with him about what I had been doing. He also took an interest in my juicer and even said he couldn't stand medical doctors...how odd is that? Well, who would have known that my hard-to-talk to son and I would have connected this way.
I'm hoping one day we may have alot more incommon with one another and also hoping pH balancing is another degree he may one day add. :)
