To prevent the regurgitation of blood back into the atria surgery is the best option. But that is only done when the left ventricle is unable to take the load and ejective fraction is reduced and if the general health of the patient is fit for surgery. Still it is the best option and is the only cure. But till you do not have surgery to sustain the heart muscle function and to maintain the ejective fraction there are good remedies of Homoeopathic Medicine like Gels, Lach, Strophanthus etc.
