Sitting for too long causes impotence ?

I have been growing increasingly worried about sitting for too long, in front of the computer, tv, or just playing my guitar. Last night after playing my guitar, I got up and my butt, tailbone, crotch and penis area was all numb. I have heard that this is very dangerous. Anyone know anything about this and if they sell special chairs to prevent this numbness from happening again ?
