Here is a quote on the amount of Sugar in carrot juice.

"Amount of Sugar in Juice. In an 8 ounce glass of carrot juice (~230 g), there would be about 76 calories, 11.3 g sugar, lots of vitamins and miner-als, and very little fat or protein. By comparison, an 8-ounce serving of soda pop would have between 25 and 31 g of sugar, along with caffeine and phos-phoric acid." If you are fighting candida, the amount of Sugar in carrot juice can be a serious concern. If you are diabetic or otherwise want to slow down the absorption of the sugar from the carrots into your bloodstream, add some fresh ground flaxseed or flaxseed oil to your carrot juice. the omega 3 oils dramatically slow down the absorption of sugar and your bloos sugar level will stay nearly level.

Also, it is mostly carotenes in carrots rather than bonified Vitamin A. Your liver converts the carotenes into Vitamin A as your body needs it, so you won't get an overabundance of Vitamin A hitting your system. Some people turn yellow-orange when they first start drinking quantities of carrot juice becuase it heals a part of the liver. In the process your liver starts dumping toxins so fast that the body can't get rid of them all via the bowels, so it also uses your skin, actually the body's #1 eliminative organ. You can either lessen the amount of carrot juice you drink to avoid turning yellow, or you can hang in there for 4-6 weeks and eventually you won't be yellow anymore.
