Calcium and NPN

Hi,

I think perhaps the increased calcium you are taking is reacting with the NPN (non-protein nitrogen) stored in you body causing pH to lower. I'm sure Moreless can shed some light on this subject. Though, you may also do a search with keywords: calcium and NPN or funny protein

I had a similar experience when I added to much Pickling Lime in a bath soak. When this happed my urine pH went down sharply from 7.0 to below 5.0 within an hour or two. It might have been sooner than that, cause I tested the pH about that time frame and not immediately after. So, I believe adding more calcium may only make your pH stay low and not bring it up as one may believe.

What about saliva pH? Is it also dropping?

I'm sure ML is probably going to want you to be more specific regarding your daily diet. As in what you ate exactly and at what time. Also include the concentrations of each ingredient you are using in your drinks. This information may help you get a better and faster response once Moreless sees your post.
