hyperechoic, heterogenous mass lesion of liver

Doc,
Just stopped by the doctor to get the printout version of the ultrasound that showed two masses on my liver. One measures 7.8cm and is hyperechoic, but heterogenous mass lesion in the right lobe. The other is 4.5cm heterogeneous, but slightly hyperechoic mass lesion in the left lobe.
Do you know what any of this means? The doc was out of town, so I could not ask her.
Thanks, Snoopy
