Yes, sub shop gift certificates? I wouldn't buy a gift certificate anywhere for anyone right now. They may not be any good in February. I used my last gift card at Williams Sonoma recently. Held onto it since last Xmas and thought...yikes, I better get rid of this. That store is waaaayyyyy over priced. You can tell that they are going to tank.

I will give you all a little insight. I work for a large retailer. One of the largest in the country. I track vacancies, it's one of my jobs. I also track the sales in all the retailers in the country. I keep track of bankruptcies and stocks and quarterly projections. OMG. You can read everything into what the retailers are projecting, and reporting. No one is shopping. Every one is tightening their belts. You will see retailers disappear and never be heard of again. We've already had Linen's N Things, Circuit City, Dillards, Montgomery Wards, Steve and Barry's, some 99cents, Sharper Image.....the list goes on and on and is getting bigger every day. Nto to mention car sales, travel agencies, airlines, resorts and hotels. The consumers are staying home in fear. All the retailers are in double digit losses. It's my world, but it's my bit gauge. The national indicator.

It's worse than you even know. Much worse. And it's not even the retailers, it's the commercial real estate owners too. They are in the toilet.
