Infant Excema/Please Help Us! JUST UPDATED!

My son was born on 8 Oct 2008. He's a healthy boy. My husband is worried that our son will get eczema. My husband has had atopic eczema all his life. No one on my side has ever had eczema.

Here are the questions my husband and I have:
- What signs to we need to keep an eye out for?
- How soon will we know if he does or does not have eczema?
- What is the likelihood he'll get eczema?

Please help us out as soon as possible with our questions.

Some other info:
- Father has atopic dermatitis (forgive spelling) eczema
- Father has asthma
- Father has tons of allergies
- Mother (self)a few allergies
- Bottle feeding/wasn't able to breast feed(I tried for 3 weeks)
- His skin seems to "bubble up" and peel between and around his eyebrows
- Was born 4 weeks early (DOB: 8 Oct 2008)
- As of 8 Dec 2008, weighs 9lbs 8oz, 21 inches long
- Is eating 8 fl oz. every feeding (yes you read right)
- When asked doctor for info on infant eczema, she was clueless.
- As of today (21 January 2009), his skin feels like sandpaper on both his cheeks and both his legs. I think his arms are sandpaper-like.
- The side of his right face has a scaly spot the looks like a scab but it's not.
- We have had to put mittens on his hands all the time because he is scratching really bad (and yes we clip his nails).
