Re: Can babies drink raw juice?
Here's what it says in a book i have :
"After children are 6 months, you may be able to start giving them very simple juices, like orange, always mixed with at least 50% purified or distilled water. Check first with a pediatrician before introducing any changes into a child's diet. And watch carefully for any sign of an allergic reaction. If
food allergies do develop, they will be much easier to pinpoint if you are not mixing different fruits in one juice.
When your child is between 8 and 12 months, you can gradually use less water in the juices until your child is accustomed to pure juice. Keep to simple juices like carrot, apple, orange, or cantaloupe, and let your child develop their own preferences.
Talk again with a pediatrician before incorporating more than 1 or 2 glasses of juice a day into your child's diet on a regular basis."
