--answer--bath with Pickling Lime

Hi Xenia,

Your question: Hi,
earlier there was a question about the pickling lime water:
why it has to be shaken before use, it does not really solve in the water.
The answer was that it needs the acid (Lemon or ACV) to solve.

I have just started to add either Baking Soda or ACV into the baths (in addition to the H2O2 and ES).
Does acid also need to be added in the Picking Lime baths?

Thank You,
Love,
Xenia

Answer: 1 Tablespoonful of pickling lime is more than will completely disolve in 1 gallon of distilled water, thus the reason for shaking it each time before using so as to get more that may then react against the weak acids of Lemon juice or ACV !

Epsom Salt is Magnesium Sulfate, which when disolved in water the Sulfate may form Sulfuric Acid, which may provide the Acid !

Do not add very much Lime Water to the bath water when you start out trying it !

Read past posts as to WHY !

Smile Tis your choice.
