Re: Painful Legs
I have not had this experience, but I recommend an array of nutrients (and possibly backing off the iodine) to heal the body. Here are some of my tastiest Christmas recommendations:
eat real butter, lard (not hydrogenated grocery store lard), tallow, olive oil, coconut oil, palm oil, no oils heavy on the polyunsaturates (stay away from canola, soy, and other vegetable oils)
soak your pecans, almonds, hazelnuts, etc. in salt water overnight (cashews will get slimy though so be careful), then dehydrate, to improve nutrient assimilation
eat simple foods, not processed ones
get real fully formed vitamin A, not the carotenes...eat the fat of animals living outside on pastures, liver
cut back on grains...I had to cut out all wheat/gluten, which interfered with my ability to absorb nutrients
It's my impression that
Iodine with a long history of other nutrient deficiency will lead to trouble, even though
Iodine is definitely needed.
