Speaking of cleaning the house . . .

Just had to join your interesting thread on de-cluttering and share a website with any of you who are interested. The website is http://www.flylady.net it was started by a woman who calls herself flylady because she loves to fly fish, she even teaches it. Anyway, she used to live in C.H.A.O.S. (can't have any one over syndrome) and then she created a set of routines that have turned her life around. She is a sidetracked home executive rather than being a born organized person. She isn't lazy she just gets sidetracked when she goes from the family room to put a glass in the dishwasher and see's the cat's bowl needs food and then realizes that the food container is empty and goes to the pantry to find more and realizes that the pantry needs some work only to find her way back to the family room because she finds a remote control in the pantry, and by this time is tired so she sits down with the remote and turns on the TV, realizing afterwards that she hasn't accomplished anything all day. Sound familiar to anyone?

I highly recommend checking her website out and signing up for her email reminders. You get a lot of email, but if you hang on, you will soon learn that all you have to read is the subject line and then delete at will as you complete the task or if you haven't gotten that far in your routines, just delete the ones you don't do as you get them in the inbox.

What really struck me is the way you were all talking about the cleaning of your houses having a connection with cleaning of yourself and I thought of her favorite acronym for FLY (Finally Loving Yourself) and isn't that what we are doing here while we cleanse our colons of years of toxic build up?
