Re: Cleansing, Winter, and Stressful Work
I say there's no time like the present. Once I had read and understood enough to decide it was a good thing, it was time to do it. Putting things off for me usually means they never get done. So, this time I took decisive action and jumped both feet into a Master Cleanse fast. Best thing I've ever done. Feel better than I have in a long time, and I never felt bad. Have more energy, and was already an early riser without an alarm/late to bed. Aches and pains that I didn't realize ached, went away. Sinuses that I didn't know were clogged, cleared up. Lost 25 lbs that I needed to lose, even though I wasn't seriously overweight. I went from drinking a dozen or more cups of coffee a day, to not even wanting it anymore. I'm satisfied on a modest sized meal, when it used to take a large plate and second helping to fill me up.
It was kind of like putting on glasses for the first time - after years of gradual vision decline that I didn't realize had occured, I realized that trees had individual leaves, that could actually be seen with corrected vision. Master Cleanse was to the rest of my body what those first time eyeglasses were to my eyes 20 years ago.
My children are proud of their dad. My wife says she's envious that I'm looking almost like I did when we first married almost 20 years ago.
I'm convinced that as a result of the cleanse, when the Spring "allergy season" comes along, I'll be virtually unaffected. The flu season has been all around me, and hasn't bothered me a bit - while co-workers and their families have suffered and schools have come near closing due to illness. (Of course, my entire family has always been very healthy, which helps with contagious issues.)
And when summer comes around and it's time to strip down to bathing trunks, I won't be embarrased to take the shirt off and jump right in.
So, my only complaint is that I've had a little confusion over how to time the various parts of cleansing, but am I glad I did it? And am I glad I did it now? YOU BET!
