Re: essential tremor

I doubt is Lisinopril would work for essential tremor. This drug is an ACE inhibitor. Beta blockers, like Inderal (propanalol) and calcium channel blockers, like nimodipine, would be better choices. All of these drugs though can have some serious side effects.

If it were me I would try ashwagandha and magnesium malate or citrate instead. Ashwagandha is a natural ACE inhibitor and beta blocker. It also decreases neurotransmitter action by stimulating the GABA receptors in the brain. This gives the herb a calming effect and can reduce tremor. It also strengthens the adrenals, reducing the risk of essential tremor from stress or hypoglycemic reactions. Magnesium is a natural calcium channel blocker, and is essential for the formation of ATP. ATP is the fuel for cells and allows them to function properly. The malic acid (malate) and citric acid (citrate) are also essential for the formation of proper ATP levels.
