"Golly, I might not even need all this 'thinking' I do. (Blush!)"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
fledgling, i say this with no intended condescension, but I think, "yes!" And I sense that a part of the "healing" you received from the lady in Montreal is a healing of the tear between thought and knowing. In any case, it's all good.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I know that I have been focusing on 'statements', and 'intentions'. Maybe I don't need to. Maybe all we need is in our hands."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think your assessment of the Domancic way of teaching, via the hands, is really getting close to 'the secret', which is far less complex that we usually imagine.
"typical", one might say. Okay, it is a bit complicated, (only because our heads
get in the way!)
My sense is the important intention actually lies *behind*, or 'prior to' the elaborate layering of thought that gets very bound up with personality; with highly personal experience; with "what I've learned through sheer working at it with my faculties"; with "i am going to activate LOA now", and all that kind of engagement.
We're always trying to *do something* with our heads.(
If you see what I mean: it is as though intention itself, may be rather more pure in nature than "our intentions", or "my intention", but the big healing as i see it, that has to occur to get to this decomplexifying simplicity is one of repairing the ripped connection between this body ( any one) and its intuition.
Fix that, and you have a strong clear channel for energy that is unbound. "universal energy" that some show a great capacity to stream through their beings, and to 'give' to others, and that others are very blocked to. But it is a choice, yes.
Whether to receive the energetic 'assistance'. And we have to consider the contracts that were made prior to this incarnation. Lots of intricacies, as apply to my friend. That we might not be conscious of these contracts or karmic decidings right now is a small thing really, in the greater -beyond suffering- schematic of the cosmos.
But here's where a lot of *choice* also comes into effect: with readers deciding, "I don't believe in that", but it's a little like one's not believing in sky or trees. Believing or not doesn't alter the fact.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"As I now see it, human beings are awash in energy, simply because we exist...but, we are the only creatures able to shape how that energy manifests through ourselves...whether we understand 'how', or not."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think this is true, or *almost true*, because I also see that sometimes choice has been accessed ( not an easy thing at all, but it can happen )such that an animal may be an incarnation of a very evolved consciousness, choosing to manifest as such for the good of many others. And such an animal can be a healer, unseen by most people, simply because they don't "have eyes to see". This might seem a leap here, but Jesus was a great master, (who had nothing to do with churches in his time) and when he spoke/taught of the effect of the single eye he said "the whole body shall be filled with light", and, "greater things than I do, you shall do" -- something the church in its worldliness does not want your average person to "believe in", for it would liberate people from the tyranny of 'thought' and ideas of themselves as small, and sinners. This single eye that he spoke of, is not possible to consider without first clearing the way of obstacles and "illusion" (ill light). It is illusion that we are a body, with a mind and then a field. And simply to say we are spiritual beings having a physical experience -as many people say today- is usually mostly still a fluffy thought, rather than a true recognition. This world-wide illusion causes no end of suffering, because the thought system that sees things this way is funda-mentally in error. It hasn't "sinned", but it is in error.
And to make matters worse, most everyone is practicing life out of the same errors, and sharing these; building communities founded on shared error that are seeking to strengthen themselves. This intention may be good, but the foundation is inherently flawed. That's why I say *the important intention* lies behind or prior to all this. It is so much simpler than what hides it, that it is almost impossible to locate
with the ordinary eyes. so "If thine eye be single"....
My intuition tells me that this is partly where the domancic method directed its energies, with you. Toward this 'singling' of the eye. And this could be achieved in very basic terms -just speculating here: by removing excess, stagnant energy, and allowing more flow where there is 'lack'. If the body has an innate wisdom, and knows how to heal itself, given the go-ahead from all levels of self, most critically, the so called "higher" self, then who's to say how the energy is actually utilized within this system we call "me". But imagine, that this might be done with just the hands moving in specific ways, and far less 'thought' or 'specific intention' than we might have imagined -- yes, I agree, this is a radical intuiting. I notice a big shift in your 'thinking'. Less struggle, more grace. which is wonderful to 'see'.
So, apparently the method involves very specific movements or 'prescriptions'--a thought I actually found quite disappointing at first, somehow.
Now I see that the many who've never received a diagnosis but have serious and 'factual' conditions, are the ones the method knows it probably can't interfere with: these conditions are likely arising through *prior (transpersonal) agreements*.
I think I was quite wedded to a mode of generalized healing that knew by itself what to do. That simply 'makes sense' to me, knowing that often it is we who are in the way of anything that seems apart from us.
What I mean is, i saw that as a discouraging allopathic idea and approach, since diagnoses are so often simply the names for a bunch of symptoms anyway whose 'cause' -which is so often one of stagnation or "constipation" in broad terms- is not even understood.
But now I'm beginning to see how the method could indeed address this "excess" and "lack" as Domancic and Yuen et aI speak of their methods. I see that he is very wise in the way this is being taught and disseminated. He is working hard to not have the method, and by extension all of "healing" be dismissed and demonized.
His studies and results (repeated lab tests and so on) are important to his being able to continue on, unhindered, unattacked. And for the method not to be treated as magic, since he has these very specific 'prescriptions'. Yes, I think you are right--it must be that so much of this is in the hand movements. One has a sinus issue, for example, and the movements relate to clearing the liver, clearing stagnation and excess from the associated systems. I'm sure the feedback to the 'healer' tells her where to move next and how clear the body now is. But there is a
strong intention element at work too I think. I just don't feel it is one that one 'puts on', which is so much the way we as humans all tend to approach stuff. I think the intention that's at work here is one that is revealed behind all the stuckness, the excess and lack. I mean, first, one has to be cleared in order to do this work.
It may look like the healing is physical, but so often (i'm convinced of this) it's not physical at all, though if the physical is 're-oriented', th non-physical can move forward, just the way an auditorium empties or fills up, with the movement of bodies.
I do wonder sometimes about how the method in its entirety came to Zdenko. He's naturally quite non-personal when he speaks of it, i think. He clearly did not arrive at it all through the intellectual faculties though, or even the knowledge of eastern meridian systems, etc. etc. (as with Kam Yuen), although i think he is wise and reflective to speak so consistently pragmatically about it all. And to take such pains to embrace the scientific world, for truly, I think he has recognized that this is "the science" that
Science is moving toward, which is not so much
Science at all but what Jesus might have recognized and taught as simply one's natural inheritance, if one was to strip away the false. A
Science that goes to a place of prior grace. Things are indeed simpler than we can *yet* imagine. Rather tenderly ironic, isn't it?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I know it refers somehow to our ability to choose, but please don't ask me to explain!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ah--this is wondrous stuff, this kind of recognition. One of the glimmerings in there to me is that when one chooses, one is "chosen". It is like an instant blessing that naturally moves in both directions. To be "chosen" then, is not to be more special than others, but to see others as oneself, and to have chosen to choose. I'm not trying to be funny here--that is the kind of intention i think you are seeing as being the non-intention, or maybe it should be called simply 'prior intention'. That gets to the idea of an intention that a loving Mother/Father has for a divine child, and that the divine child discovers one day, under the bed; or after s/he has thrown out a lot of stuff s/he was hanging onto.
But in pragmatic, grounded terms, ( which is a nice place to float back down to, so that we can enjoy some tea :-) we as human beings having choice -- well, yes, but most of us squander that. We have choice in that it is only humans who can actually recognize we are not these bodies. That is a huge gift. Animals are (mostly) completely identified with their bodies and sensation. They do not have the ability to "witness" that human consciousness does. They may have great concentration, as in watching for predators or prey, but that is not the same as the conciousness that can witness its own formations, as in meditation. So, we are able to 'use the mind to study the mind', which is both a little silly (especially if we start to feel "special") and quite miraculous. The latter moreso, when we feel the inpouring of humility and gratitude. When we locate that prior intention that was waiting for us, like a Christmas to end all box-sized christmases. :-)
But it's a tricky thing, this "bittersweet symphony", as The Verve calls it. The more we think we are 'here', the more likely we are to have tricked ourselves again, and separated ourselves from that capacity for 'healing'.
best to you, Fledgling, and thank you for sharing this Domancic experience and giving me the opportunity to reflect on this.
There's so much (recognition) between the lines of what you say, that I can feel the flowering of it all
