Ceramic may be best, then pure Gold/Platinum,then Gold Silver, Gold Silver Palladium is next choice but palladium is somewhat toxic, last composite Diamond crown.




Should I have a crowns if the broken tooth needs one in order for me to keep it. It's basically all filling now. The dentist wanted to pull it when it was first filled but I talked him into the non-mercury filling.

Where are you, in the US a government PAID dentist wont replace mercury with something else to my knowledge.
