lemon and orange peels both are loaded with bioflavanoids. these are the co-factors that enable your body to more thoroughly absorb vitamin C.
however the outer rind contains limonene which can be harsh in high concentrations.
so to get the bioflavanoids but avoid the limonene take your orange or lemon and carefully greate the outer rind off. this is the part with the color. now you have just teh white inner peel exposed. this is where all the nutrients are. so then remove the outer rind shavings and then grate the white inner rind. you will have a small pile of white shavings when you are done. this is super nutritious. add so smooothies or juices or just water.
also you can add it to a master cleanse drink. its got anit inflammatory properties and is very good for anyone with arthritis or heart disease or any type of inflammation.
