Neighbors "miraculous" results with OP!

First of all I've posted many times to this forum as Larryb, but haven't been able to log back in for months - but I absolutely HAD to post this so had to change my account, handle, etc.

But here's the scoop:

I was talking to my neighbor about oil pulling some months back. And even though he seemed to be interested, I didn't figure it would go everywhere with him being a "no foolishness" successful executive, Republican type etc.

But he called me a couple months later and started the conversation with "Larry, you're a genius". Since he's usually sparing with praise or enthusiasm I was pretty stunned.

He went on to tell me that he has been doing oil pulling several times a day for the last couple months. He just got back from his periodontist that was stunned that his gum pockets went from 4's and 5's to 2's and 3's!!

The periodontist said that gum disease simply isn't reversable - all you can do is try to stop it in its tracks. But in this case, it clearly has been reversed. He said that normally a patient in his condition would need to be seen in 3 months for a follow up, but given his progress, he could go 9 months to a year before his next visit.

Obviously I told him that if he keeps up the oil pulling, he should never need to see his periodontist again (despite how refreshing his approach certainly is).

Also to the periodontists credit, he quizzed my neighbor heavily on exactly how he got this result, and even asked him to use the office PC to print out information from the net on oil pulling that he could study.
