Re: Please answer this question

Hon,

Google herbal bitters. Usually it is a combination of herbs that are bitter tasting. Gentian is usually one of the herbs. Not all health food stores will carry different bitters, though most carry Swedish Bitters. Although Swedish bitters contain camphor. I've tried it before and the taste is more off-putting than other bitters because of the camphor. I'm not sure what the health benefit of consuming camphor is, though. I didn't stick with the Swedish bitters long enough to notice a difference, I found it truly noxious, and I'll knock down herbal tinctures without regard to taste. But I couldn't continue with the SB. Floridix has a bitters that doesn't contain the camphor.
