Re: Broken thyroid cartilage...

have you checked out the christopher herbal formula 'complete tissue formula' previously 'B,F & C' (bone/flesh/cartilage)

I've been thinking about this in regards to my sternum that has been acting weird ever since I popped or snapped it out of place while exercising. A few years ago I was doing chair dips for the first time ever, and found them too easy so I tell my friend to put a 25lbs plate on my ab region, still easy, so I get him to stack another 25 plate on top of the first one, now it was still fairly easy but at least somewhat of a challenge... well I 'dipped' down too deep on one rep and while struggling to push myself back up I felt and heard a huge pop/crunch, (best way to describe the feeling is like the release action of from a high tension bow & arrow). I collapsed to the floor, and it was one of the most horribly painful things I've ever experienced.

I was sore for a few weeks after that and couldn't do certain movements and now every once in a while when I do a certain stretch (the one where you extend your arms horizontally and pull them back like to squeeze your shoulder blades together) I will hear and feel a loud pop and it sure doesn't feel good, so I'm beginning to think it still hasn't completely or properly healed. (sorry for the long random story)
