Container Housing

People are constructing and decorating homes out of old shipping containers- the ones they bring the stuff over from China in. What a great idea for a couple just starting out, enterprising college students, and singles wanting to leave less of a carbon footprint. Maybe larger families could join a few containers together and bump out a couple of walls.

I don't know about the costs to cool or heat one of these, or the actual cost of outfitting one, but it's got me thinking....

This one in Costa Rica is CUTE!!!



I can see a definite market for these in our troubling times.
