Re: Separation Of Church & State
Its true that you really cannot separate the so-called religions from politics.
Church and State are in
Conspiracy with each other. They are in the same business. They are in the business of exploiting the people.
It is important to understand that the so-called religions of today are not really religious. They are also political institutions. They also consist of individuals that want to be leaders. Both the priest and the politician want to lead people. And the (sh)eople want someone to follow. It is a mutual agreement.
Neither the religious leader nor the politician is interested in the people whom they pretend to lead.
They are interested in being leaders -- and of course the leader cannot be without the led, so it is a necessity to go on promising the people things.
Politicians promise things of this world; religious leaders promise things of the other world. But do you see any difference in what they are doing? Both are promising so that you go on following them, afraid to get lost somewhere else, because if you lose the path then you will miss the promise.
The promise keeps you subdued with the rest of the crowd -- and promises don't cost anything. You can promise anything. Promises are always for tomorrow, and tomorrow never comes.
I think O is referring to true religiousness and not the so-called religions like Christianity, Judaism and Islam, etc., which teach the morality that you are talking about. That is the role that so-called religions are to play as part and parcel of the society that you belong to.
When one is talking about true religiousness and politics, then these two can never meet. They are diametrically opposed to each other.
Politics goes on saying that the world, as it is, is not right, it needs to be fixed. So change make new legislation, fix the economy, change this and that, and everything will be ok. And true religiousness says the world is fine the way it is, always has been fine. There is only one thing that needs to be changed, it is the context of your mind, the space of the mind that needs to be changed, it is through man's thinking that problems arise.
Chuck Schumer is working for himself. He is only interested in being a good leader. He is a leader of the status quo sheople. Obviously the sheople want him to lead them.
More power to you if you can see that he is not needed to lead anyone. If this kind of thinking becomes more prevalent then he will not be elected again.
I personally don't think we need anyone to lead us anywhere, priest or politician. If more pick up on this and it becomes prevalent then we can be finished with all these people. Perhaps, then the world will be finally at peace. And people will be allowed more freedom to do what they want... to enjoy p 0 r n o g r a p h y if they want... enjoy it as long as it takes them until they get bored with it. Then it will be finished. It is only a problem because it is not allowed. One needs to go through it and then a time comes when it becomes finished ...and finished for good.
