My mom used to wrap a lot of 'em separately. It's what I always received the most of for birthdays, Christmas, Valentines - always art supplies. I wasn't allowed to have designer clothes much, but always allowed to have as many art supplies as I wanted. Our Easter baskets and Valentines gifts were always primarily art supplies.

She'd tie a few brushes, pencils or markers into the ribbon of bigger gifts. Gosh, I miss her. She also used to draw me little cartoons on napkins that went into my daily lunch box for school. If I'm half the mom she was - I'll do a magnificent job. Your daughter is very fortunate.

BTW - I hope you got that foot rub when you had that cold last week!
