Re: The Universe does recognize service, and freedom

One is repayed with joy and happiness. When we give of ourselves we energize/enlarge (?) the heart chakra opening and enable more energy to flow thru. The more we give -- the more energy flows thru energizing both ourselves and others. I recently purchased and watched a copy of The Celestine Prophecy movie and they have a very interesting scene illustrating this phenomenon.

We live in a time where the "takers" have taken so much that many of us have become exceedingly insecure and fearful of giving. The pain and fear we have experienced has caused many to grow "cold". Many have never even experienced the warmth of giving -- because their life experience has not provided them with proper role models of givers. People look without to be rejuvenated/fulfilled. But the heat that can warm us once again is right inside our own hearts. Give without expecting in return -- give what you can when you can of your own free will -- and you will be receive a thousandfold from the universe.

So many of us have been concerned with being "cool" -- of not being fooled -- of trying to not be vulnerable. Where has it brought us? We have gotten fooled right out of our loving hearts. What we believe becomes true. Believe in the best you can be. Believe in the best that others can be. Do not expect the worst -- you are likely to get it. Replace your fears with prayers and share the best you can be with others. You cannot be a house divided. You can not hope for good things to happen while expecting that the worst will.
