Re: Pau d'arco suuport/ questions

I am wondering. Still have questions.

Several different supliers make extracts.

This is easy way to dose without becoming bogged down with cumbersom recipes inside of already complicated prtocols.

How therapuetic is anything that is inconvenient to a patient? Some people suck it up and make the huge effort but many people don't follow every aspect of protocols and diets.

Also, extract form provides some consistency to dosing.

Again, crude supplements I find it is harder to control the amount of active ingredients?

For example: I am interested in Quinones of pau de arco. What is the concentration of crude product? How much do I get with powder, how much do I get in tea, how can I take quinones higher in concentrations?

Capsules that contain crude substances are more standardized and therefore dosing can be tracked better it would seem.

I like the extracts as a possibility because it appears to be easier to track the dosing of quinones.

Has anyone every overdosed on pau d'arco, it should cause diarhhea in theory if you take too much, any experience with this anyone?

How concentrated can you go on the tea?
