Re: FLU SHOTS...DO THEY REALLY WORK?

Three years ago I had a Flu Shot and immediately after getting it, my heart started palpitating and I felt faint. My arms got heavy and my beathing became hard and difficult. The doctor became scared and gave me an adreneline shot immediately, which was to counteract whatever reaction he thought I was getting. I'm NOT allergic to eggs and I'm basically healthy. I had been given the flu shot before and had not had this type of reaction. It was not the Flu bash he was using because my husband received the shot from the same bottle. I was weak and ill for three days, could not leave my bed. felt dizzy and had numbness on my left side. This numbness stayed with me for over three years. It has progressively become better but now I wonder if other problems I experienced had a connection to this experience. I don't know if I should attempt to get the flu shot again because I'm 52 now and doctors advise I get a flu shot. I'm kind of scared. I reported it to the CDC and received over 200 pages of reports on adverse reactions to the Flu Shot. People are never told about this. Can't they come up with something safer? There's a lot of people getting rich on this shot, that is pushed on the population, year after year. It's pretty scary!
