Can't find parts for zapper!

Please help me, I was told by an employee at Radio Shack that the 1 1000ph capacitor and A CD4069 Hex inverter were discontinued. I am not an electrical wiz, can someone please help me to build my zapper, I am poor and can't afford to buy a new one.I live in Northern New Jersey, Are there any other stores where I can find these parts? I also do not want to wait for delivery, I need to start zapping ASAP.
