Is giving dog probiotics a good idea?

I have to give my dog some Antibiotics for a UTI...I know! Horrible!

They are helping him, so I am satisfied that I chose to use them this time....

ANYWAY, should I put some plain yogurt or probiotic drink in a dropper and give him some after the Antibiotic dose period is over?

I'd have to put it in a dropper or syringe, he is Mr. Finicky eater, I have posted about that before. :) :) :)
