Hi RE,

I was referring to how it is interesting that in academic papers, infectious rates are referred to by country as if countries are still insular places, like they used to be (for most part). Now, movement between countries has never been so dynamic, and with the imperative for continuous "cost savings" I do believe there is a laziness and a political reluctance vis a vis health screening. You see local news stories on these subject from time to time.

Re pets it doesn't help when Ozzy Osborne licks his dogs on the mouth on TV and shows people how to behave with their animals. What do you reakon you would pick up from that type of contact?
