I am so sorry, but relieved to hear about your side effects from the Mirena! I started experiencing extreme numbness, burning and tingling mostly in my left arm as well. I first went to the ER, as I was told that I was experiencing the first symptom of a stroke. After blood tests and an MRI of my brain, the drs. were unable to figure out what was wrong so I was referred to a neurologist. The neurologist is baffled. I've had another MRI of my cervical spine, which of course, has come back normal. I'm now scheduled for an MRI of my thoracic spine and an electromyogram (which sounds painful!). It looks like I just need to quickly arrange to have my mirena taken out... Tweet
