Potassium vs. Sodium - Which do I Need and Avoid

Dr. Lam,

They say adrenal fatigue may cause hypoglycemia, and hypoglycemia causes adrenal fatigue. Like many others, I probably have them both based on my symptoms. The adrenal fatigue book (by Dr. Wilson) that I read said that if you have AF, you excrete sodium and leaves potassium, therefore he recommend taking sea salt. In fact, I've read somewhere in your forum to avoid potassium cause it's bad for your adrenals.

While Mr. Budd in his Hypoglycemia book said that if you have hypoglycemia, you excrete potassium. He therefore recommends taking potassium chloride to relieve the nasty symptoms of hypoglycemia.

I'm confused on these. Can you please enlignten me doctor?
