Gemisphere vs. other suppliers

A great bodyworker I'm seeing also recommended I get some necklaces from Gemisphere - the lavender (which I assume is light amethyst), and the dark green aventurine. THis forum is the second place I have heard about it, so I'm definitely intrigued (especially after reading Miss Scarlet's post).

What I'm wondering though, is whether I can save myself a whopping lot of cash if I get them from one of my usual wholesale suppliers, since I'm a part-time jewelry designer and have access to wholesale purchasing of gemstone beads. I have never used them for healing or designed my pieces with that in mind, but I wonder if I could find beads of equal quality. I know that quality varies widely, and sometimes beads are dyed (which I can spot if it's relatively obvious or my friendly dealer clues me in), but is there something about Gemisphere's products that they are more charged with healing energy than others?

I don't know - I'm open to pretty much anything at this point, but I can get similar items at a fraction of the cost, which would only be worth it if they are effective. If anybody knows anything about this, I'd appreciate some feedback! Thanks. Tweet
