Re: Question for Sunshine P
Hey Sunshine,
I have a question on the compost that you used that didn't work. Did you make the compost your self that went stagnant?
I have been making my own compost with cheap bagged dirt, veggie trimmings, Star bucks coffee grounds which they give out for free and dried leaves. It has been making a huge difference in my garden flowers. My flowers are blooming so nicely that they are showing off the whole neighborhood. How does a compost become stagnant? This is my first year of composting of course I have been around it all my life because my Dad has been composting over 50 years.
Next year I will have a nice garden, I am preparing the soil now.
With all the energy from doing 4 Humaworm cleanses and several liver flushes I go go go. Of course my lower back pays for it at the end of the day.
If you make your own compost or anyone else that reads this post, I would love to hear what you put in your compost.
I am buying a Vita Mix this weekend at the home and garden show and It said that you can make a cold compost in the Vita Mix.
This is another thing that I am doing. I am going to the coffee places and getting used coffee grinds and using it to cover my dirt. It looks like black dirt. Instead of paying a hefty price for black dirt or black bark to make you ground look better, I just use coffee grounds. I call them in the morning and have them save it for me. I now have a few of my neighbors doing it. Not only does it make you yard look better it is good for the soil and it is good in nitrates so you plants love it too. Sorry for the long post. Donna
