watery eyes from coconut oil?

I use nutiva extra virgin organic coconut oil and i put it under my eyes and on my eyelids and i always get watery eyes and sometimes it blurs my vision for a second or so a little bit. does this ever happen to anyone else? does anyone know why this could be happening? should i not use it around my eyes anymore?
