I have some isocort still in my fridge. It has very low levels of cortisol, so i would not be frightened of it. I found it not strong enough, and took cortef for my adrenal fatigue, which is much stronger, but my fatique was fairly mild, and went hand in hand with hypothyrodism. I tried all the vitamins and minerals, and glandulars etc to no avail. The adrenal fatigue seemed to correct itself in no time in my case. This was before i was aware of waterfasting btw. I built up slowly to 20mg, and i only took for a short time. Have you had the tests done, i'm assuming you have, and know at what stage you are. Having said that, i read that if taking cortisol/cortisone you should not fast for at least 6 months. So perhaps Chris will step in there, as to the truth of that statement. If your body doesn't want to eat, then fasting is definately the way to go.
