Has anyone here followed a vegan diet to reverse diabetes? I'm going to give it a try
I've been reading a little about the possibility of reversing diabetes through proper eating. Most of the information I've read seems to point to 30 days on a vegan diet as a way to cure diabetes. In addition certain organ cleansings also seem to help in the process. At any rate I've made my mind up and I'm going to give it a try. If nothing else I'll get healthier, lose weight and maybe end up going into a lifelong healthier eating plan.
So for those of you who have given veganism a try how did it work out for you?
What are some of the meals that you ate? For some reason I've never liked beans, peas or squash so I'm going to have to really get creative with my meal plans if I hope to survive 30 days as a vegan. In fact I wonder if maybe vegatariasm might be a better choice, although I'm not sure if I can reverse diabetes that way.
If anyone has had success with curing their diabetes I would like to hear your experiences and how you did it. Thanks
