Re: I'm Looking For A Herbal Remedy For Fibromyalgia
Hi Lauren75 - I had muscle pain in forearms, thighs - for years - sort of
constantly with much greater dull pain for a few days after lifting something.
Docs were useless(isn't that aily typical?) except that the last one finally pointed out a hypothyroid problem - TSH of 7.4. This steered me into investigating
Iodine to perhaps help the thyroid.
Iodine needed to be checked out or the thyroid.(Never mind the doc and specialist(only had synthroid for life on their brains) So I dried some Bladderwrack from the ocean nearby(for the
Iodine content) Within hours of taking
a teaspoon full my muscle pains went away. It felt so good to be without those
constant dull pains that today, 2 years later, the pain is still gone.
My price - the taking of 1/2 teaspoon of dried Bladderwrack each day or
substituting 1 to 2 drops of
Lugols solution instead.
I lean towards the Bladderwrack(could substitute kelp)as it contains
other useful minerals vs the
Iodine and Potassium only in Lugols.
