Hi Fasting2goal
Hi Fasting2goal, I hope you are well.
From a spiritual perspective, matter is perishable so any material attainments are temporary and will finish when the body finishes. But the living being is imperishable and therefore any spiritual attainments are also imperishable and will go with you when you leave the physical body.
Any attainment is very good but eternal attainments obviously have more value than temporary attainments.
Of course if you are not spiritually minded then none of this matters.
The important thing is what you think, not what others think.
Either way, the thing that matters is that we maintain respect and regard for each other and try to maintain a harmonious atmosphere about the forum.

It is good to understand that spiritually minded people often have to go through a considerable amount of pain and suffering, because deep down they are aware that they are going to take their defects and weaknesses with them too, but whilst knowing this, often just don’t have the strength to do anything about it.
Fasting isn’t necessary for spiritual development, so when somebody turns to fasting for spiritual reasons you can be sure that they are struggling and in need of everyone’s help and support.
Similarly, somebody struggling with weight problems is equally worthy of our help and support.
Sweet feelings from Michael.
