Usually coQ10 is taken with ozonated olive oil, or another ozonated oil, to treat tape worm or round worm infection. When tape worms die, they really bite hard, the scolex of the worm (the head) has large hooks on it, which the worm uses to stay attached to the inside of the intestinal wall. You may have killed off a tape worm, I am worried about what you are doing if you are taking COQ10 all by itself. What else are you using to treat yourself?

Here is a link with photographs of several types of parasites, including the tape worms. When I got rid of mine, it had a 5 mm scolex and big black hooks. It is not uncommon to get sharp pains when a large worm dies, but it usually doesn't last too long. Also remember that where ever they are attached, the area is wounded, and will hurt when the worm dies, and will be a sore spot for a while afterward.
