Why be concerned with the viruses (EBV) and heavy metals?

I thought this was a good post by Newport about the role of heavy metals and infections/viruses.

Dr's will tell you there's nothing that can be done about viruses. If Hulda Clark is right, and the Epstein Barr Virus comes from the Pancreatic Fluke, and I killed pancreatic flukes shortly after starting a homeopathic treatment for EBV, and again with starting the Bob Beck blood electrifying...how tied together are all of these things? The heavy metals, viruses, and parasites? Very. Not to mention what they do to the immune system.
