to Glenna re: sulfur smell during, and between, flush
I decided to post this here because it was a couple of pages back and I didn't want you to think I was ignoring your post.
I'm not sure that it's from meat as I hadn't eaten much of that the two weeks between my last flushes. I was on the Atkins diet for over a year and that should have caused it if anything did. Unless you are saying the protien did it and the liver had stored it all this time. Ick! That's a gross thought.
I looked up sulfur in Dr. Clarks book and found a reference to
kidney stones being made from sulpher. Since it coincided with the begining of my kidney herbs I'm wondering if they are dissolving the stones and it's somehow ending up in my liver.
There is also a reference to bacteria in the blood being strained by the liver which then dumps it into the bowel which turns it into carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and carbon monoxide.
So for me at least either it's the protien as you suggested or one of the other two things. All the more reason to keep on doing these flushes.
Thanks for telling me about the protien,
Lisa
