Think about it...You're raised by a white parent and grandparents save for a short stint in Indonesia. Yet you have a black face and are treated as such when you enter mainstream society. It can create cognitive dissonance within you. This memoir was about a guy finding himself and figuring out life, a process of self-discovery that many kids of mixed parentage, or minority races living in an all white environment eventually go through.

I'd be willing to bet that your own memoir of your younger years would have us all cowering in fear of you too.

If only you could see how you're mentally enslaved by the Republican smear agenda, which appeals to racism, patriotism, self-hate, or fear, etc., anything to compel people to vote against their own common sense, and economic interests. We're on to this sort of campaigning by Republicans. Yes, voting for Obama means we're Muslims, or self-hating white folks, or non-patriotic, yada, yada, yada. Some of us enjoy voting with our mental faculties and not from emotional tampering.
