Re: Newbie here. Having Yeast & what I'm doing.
Ruffneck, thanks for responding & the advice on olive oil. Today I just bought Acidophillus capsules and will take 2/per day.
Wheat grass also seems interesting. How long have you had Yeast Infection, Ruffneck?
From most posts I read, controlling Candida growth is a long term effort, but the results are worth it.
One thing I realize now is..
I could not look at pastries, cakes, breads, biscuits/cookies, pastas, rice..basically any sugary carb loaden food the same way again!
I rather go the extra mile..than feel the burns/itch again! :-(
I suspect many people simply don't realize that they have Candida/Yeast overgrowth..until it hurts. I was there too. Never realize that all this time, the UTIs I got, the stiff neck, the lethargic feelings all day long..are a result of Candida overgrowth!
For sure the diet is tough, I have to sacrifice a lot of my favorite foods & treats, but..the reward is quite good. I'm on the diet for 3 days already and I feel more fresh, more alert now, and morning runny nose is gone.
I'll keep you posted on my progress!
