Re: Why does it have to be coke?

This is an opinion. Coke has phosphoric acid in it. It's something like what is in the Ultraphos. It seems to work synergistically with the rest of the liver flush drink. Coke has been an old remedy for an upset stomach for many years.. The EVOO is a lttle nauseating sometimes. There are some who can do the coke flush with less than the 1/2 cup of olive oil, but I couldn't seem to get away with it. You can always use a piece of peppermint candy for the nausea the EVOO causes, too. I know there is one person whom I have doing this program who is substituting grapefruit juice for the coke. I haven't heard how it is working. Whatever works for YOU, maybe.
