flush no stones

I have done 4 flushes and only the first one did I definitely see a few stones. The other 3 I saw no stones so was sure I was stone free but ultra sound shows stones. Any suggestions what I did wrong? I kept the oil down (barely) all 4 times. Any substitutes for ES? Would stones pass if I didn't use ES? Tweet
