Flu shot anyone.. Alzheimer’s anyone
This week the government announced even more sweeping recommendations for the flu vaccine, adding children ages five to eighteen; an additional 30 million people. This coincides with a record amount of vaccine available. A total of 86 percent of Americans are now encouraged to get an annual flu shot.
You will save your health, and definitely save your money, by skipping a flu shot this year ; and every year for the rest of your life. Be aware, though, that soon the flu vaccine drum beaters will be parading throughout the media, pushing you to protect yourself from this year’s strain of influenza. But you should think twice about flu vaccine. There is growing evidence that not only is it mostly ineffective but it may also be dangerous to your health.
One loud get-your-shot drumbeat has already sounded: A coalition of 22 major medical groups said public confidence in the safety of vaccines needs to be restored, stating that members of the group “want to impress upon the public the possible consequences … of having a population that is not adequately protected.”
I am always suspicious when medical societies (such as the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Academy of Family Practice), government scientists, and public health officials begin screaming about a new disease that demands widespread vaccination. The financial interconnection between these groups and vaccine manufacturers has been demonstrated repeatedly. One of the largest lobbying groups in Washington is that of pharmaceutical manufacturers.
How harmful can a flu vaccine be? Dr. Hugh Fudenberg, one of the biggest names in immunology, suggests that those who repeatedly get flu shots dramatically increase their risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease.

It is because of this mechanism that an unlimited number of vaccines cannot be given safely, and the more vaccines given, the greater the risk of substantial harm.
I would contend that many of the children who died from a certain strain of the flu a few years ago died because of immune injury produced by excessive vaccination early in their lives combined with poor nutrition. There is substantial evidence in the scientific literature to back this scenario up.
After all, children receive almost 40 vaccines by the time they start school. If you follow recommendations by the medical authorities, you may get as many as 150 vaccinations in your lifetime. 150!

Instead of a flu vaccine, and even if you’ve already had one, there are nutrients that can help you. For example, we know that vitamin E (natural E), selenium, zinc, vitamin C, and flavonoids (from fruits and vegetables) are critical for normal immune function. These are common deficiencies, especially after middle age. But a deficiency only of selenium also would impair cellular immunity; it is now known that even individual nutritional deficiencies can have devastating effects on the immune system.
