Re: Day 2
One thing that kept me busy in the evening was reading and puzzles. Now trust me, I have not done jigsaw puzzles in years, but found them very interesting during my first few days of my fast, lol.
I actually completed about 3 in 4 days. Look into thrifty stores for puzzles. I bought mine from a second hand shop for 50 cents a piece!
I also picked up some clay, and had fun with my son doing some molding. My daughter and i worked on a photo album together, and of course hubby and i watched several good flicks on TV.
I found the time i was not eating, to spend with my family in a constructive way.
Would bath early, and retire as soon as i could. Evenings went a little faster, because like you, evening boredom was always a hard one to deal with for me. Everyone in my house gets one last evening snack around 7 pm. Kids usually opt for a fruit or jello, hubby ALWAYS has popcorn. So if I was able to get through that, I was home free. (popcorn, yum yum yum! I even just bought a brand new air popper!)
