Middle Finger Nerve Numbness

placed cayenne on bleeding finger
got stitches on it.

in middle of finger still numb.
it has been many years and it is still numb.

radio doctor says it will take a long time for numbness to leave.
hummn a nice way to say sorry you blew it finger won't be the same.

I read on net a doctor claims he can restore a numb area.
I am wondering if that is possible.
Is there something else out there I can do to restore feeling to this area of finger?
Softer on pocketbook too.
