I get migraines often. I usually calm down the nausea and pain with 2 different kinds of tea: cool Peppermint tea for dehydration (I drink liters of it, iced or warm) and Ginger tea to control the nausea. Make sure the ginger tea is just ginger tea, in many tea-bags they mix black tea with ginger tea. I drink also Peppermint iced tea as regular water before my period starts (my migraines are hormonal) Good luck and hope you don't get any more headaches.
