Re: Ears popping during my fast?

My problem is similar to yours, but a bit different. At the end of my fast I had ringing behind my ear, it is called Tinnitus. Also my left Eustachian tube had collapsed 20 years ago due to very bad cold-cough, infection. This tube feels much better after my fast, not 100% yet. May take a few more fasts.

In your case also seems like the tube is collapsing and pressure make it pop and go back down. All I can say is that something is adjusting. One thing I learned from my mom was to regularly (on monthly basis) put warm Castor oil or Olive oil with garlic in it. Warm the oil put garlic in it, let it cool and put few drops of oil in your ears. Put cotton balls in both ears and go to sleep. You can have that on all day, next morning just remove the cotton balls and take a shower, clean the outer part of the ear with cloth and some soap so the dust does not stick to the ear outer canal.

All my brothers and sisters (11 children) never had ear infections and never took Antibiotics for the infections of this kind. In this country everyone is given Antibiotics when they have ear infection, a terrible idea.
